Priced by the students you actually teach
A generous included count, then $2 per active student above it. One continuous curve rather than bands — nothing to cross, no cliff, and the bill comes down again when a cohort ends.
Which tier you're on depends on how many people are teaching, not how big your roster is.
Every tier starts with a 30-day trial
We'll set it up with you on a demo call — your batches, your fee structure — so you're trialling your actual setup rather than an empty account.
- 60 students → $79
- 80 students → $119
- 100 students → $159
- 150 students → $219
- 200 students → $319
- 250 students → $419
Prices in USD. Scale covers organizations above roughly 250 students, or running more than one location — a quote anchored to the same curve, not a different one.
Teaching is never walled. Center adds the org layer.
The teaching and intelligence side is the same whatever you pay. What Center's base buys is the set of things that only exist once you have staff.
On every tier
- Create and your material library
- AI-assisted grading
- Learning trajectories and student progress
- Nova on every screen — drafts, plans, progress reports
- Live classroom — video, shared whiteboard, live annotation
- Scheduling and attendance for one teacher
- Invoicing and your own reporting
- Family portal with secure parent sign-in
- Support accounts (front desk, admin) scoped by role
Center adds
- Tutor payroll — calculate and export
- Multi-teacher scheduling, rooms, and a shared staff calendar
- Leads and CRM pipeline
- Staff tasks and delegation across your team
- Center-level reporting across every teacher
A one-teacher practice can take Center for these without hiring anyone.
No cliffs, no surprise bills
The bill follows the roster
Within a tier there is no plan to pick. Add students and the next cycle reflects it; finish a cohort and you are billed less, automatically, with nothing to confirm.
No bands to cross
One continuous curve rather than tiers with cliffs. There is no threshold inside Solo or Center to trip over, and no doubled invoice for one extra student.
You choose the tier
Adding a second teaching educator moves you to Center. Otherwise it's your call — a solo can pick Center for the org layer without hiring anyone. Novano never changes your tier on its own.
Support staff don't count
A front-desk hire, an admin, or a spouse doing the books can have their own scoped login without moving you off Solo. The tier follows teaching roles, not headcount.
Good to know
What counts as an active student?
A student with at least one session during your billing period. The count you see is the count you're charged for, and it moves in both directions as your roster changes.
What decides whether I'm Solo or Center?
Teaching staff. One person teaching is Solo; two or more requires Center. Non-teaching support accounts — front desk, admin, someone doing the books — don't affect it, however many you have.
Can I choose Center with only one teacher?
Yes. Center's base buys the organization layer — payroll, multi-teacher scheduling, CRM, delegation, and reporting across teachers — and you can take it without waiting to hire. Novano never moves you between tiers on its own.
Do features differ by tier?
The teaching side doesn't: Create, the library, AI-assisted grading, progress tracking, Nova, the live classroom, attendance, invoicing, and the family portal are on every tier. What Center adds is the organization layer — payroll, multi-teacher scheduling and rooms, CRM, delegation, and cross-teacher reporting.
What happens when my roster grows?
The bill tracks it at $2 per active student above your included count, and shrinks the same way when a cohort ends. Your tier only changes if you add a second teaching educator, or choose to change it.
When do I need Scale?
Above about 250 students, or if you run more than one location. Both are a conversation rather than a price on this page — a quote anchored to the same curve, not a jump to enterprise pricing.
Is there a trial?
Yes — 30 days. We set it up with you on a demo call so you're trialling your own batches and fee structure rather than an empty account.
